My X15e v2 HTPC build/experience |
|
|
I've begun doing up a site with a photo record of my home theatre. At
the moment I have just finished the HTPC pages. I'm using the X15e case
and have assembled the components and documented the problems and
solution on the website with details photos on each step.
My aim was to to build a HTPC with a $2000 budget but using the new
X15e case.
The website is a work in progress and as you can see in some of the
pics, I haven't yet built the unit to house all the gear. The HT room
is close to being finished, so I will update the site with the complete
build process photos over the next few months.
My main reason for doing this photo journal was to show everyone who is
keen on the X15e HTPC case as I was, the differences in this new
revision. The problems I came across have solutions and hopefully will
make others who head down a similar path have a better (less painful)
experience.
Please take the time to check out the pics and the associated dialog. I
really hope my experience helps others in deciding which way they will
go.
Enjoy:

The link you provided in your first post has an asterix at the very
end, after htm.
When I removed that, it worked fine.
There is also an asterix at the beginning of the link but if you look
closely it is black, not blue
and therefore not part of the link. Don't know how that came to be.

Can you explain to me what the problem was for future reference? Where
are the asterix's?
