I need to get some more 45 pin connectors to hook up a Sony MXP 2000
mixing board. They serve as I/O connectors for every channel + the
mains and busses. They're about an inch long with pins 1-16 on the
first row, 17-29 on the second and 30-45 on the third. Trouble is I
don't know what there called so I'm having trouble finding a source.
Can anyone let me know what they are / where to get them?
Thanks, Andy.

there are many many types of triple layer connectors. go to Digikey.com and
see if there is a similar connector there.

Digi-Key stocks a lot of the Hirose stuff. They can get the rest of
the line (although usually at outrageous quantities only). If they
don't have it, try Connector World Supply in Seattle.
