Quicktime q: which audio, video compression? |
|
|
For website intended for general public, I wonder which MOV audio video
compression to choose? I want something comparable to WMV quality.
I tried a few settings I saw suggested somewhere in usenet, the video
H.263 and audio "IMA 4:1". The video is OK, the audio is crappy.
Anyt tips on what would be
a) better audio
PLUS
b) not require a separate codec download by most users?
c) comparable to WMV size?
tx for any tips...
Richard.

Why not just use WMV? Installed base is at least an order
of magnitude (or two?) greater than for QT. |

Can you up the bitrate on the audio? That often helps alot. |
