I have some videos that were originally recorded off TV and converted
to DivX format. The DivX video won't play on my DVD player which
supports DivX files. I want to convert the video from DivX to DivX
using Dr DivX or some other program. I'm unable to play any DivX
created by Dr DivX 1.0.6 on my DVD player.
What are the best settings using Dr DivX where I don't lose a lot of
video quality to convert the files.

The orginal DivX files are:
208 x 160
50 minutes
23 fps
59Kps video data rate
Video sample size 12 bit
Audio 320k

If they have cbr sound tracks u can re author them with virtual dub or
virtual dub mod.
If they are vbr sound the only way I've been able to do it is to convert
them to svcd and the convert the mpeg's back to .avi. I
d2sroba\dvd2svcd\cinemacraft sp250 to make the svcd and Gordian Knot Rip
pack ( includes vdub and nandub) to make the avi.
