can jpg files be saved on a cd? i downloaded some pictures on my hard
drive. then i was trying to copy them on to a cd, so that i can take
them to a store and print them. but i keep getting a messg that says
jpg file can not be saved to the disk. do i need to use certain kind
of disc? or convert it to a diff kind of file? pls help

Any file can be saved to a CD as long as it is not bigger than the space
available on the disk.

Nope. On windows xp I just use windows explorer to copy and paste jpgs
onto a cdr quite often. It's only data. It may be whatever program
you're using to put the stuff onto the cd which is causing the
problem.

If you have Windows XP, you should be able to go to the "My Pictures"
folder.........highlight the pics that you want to burn .........then click
on "copy all items to cd" ( on the left hand side of youe screen ).
