Hello,
I just started capturing MiniDV video from my camcorder to my PC
w/1394 firewire card. It works fine except when I play back the video
on full screen, the video is blurry. At this point, I don't even want
to burn them onto DVDs.

Is there anyway to get a sharp full screen picture when doing the
transfer from camcorder to PC. I'm using Windows Movie Maker to
record.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks

Don't worry about the blurriness until you finish the movie then Preview the
final result, it should be OK.
BTW Movie Maker won't let you burn to DVD, I create movie in MM, save as
DV-AVI then import into Ulead DVD Movie Factory for burning.

DV is 720x576 and if you play back on full screen (1024x768 or more) you

are extending the pictures on more pixels than you have.
Look at the video at the same resolution as DV on the PC and it will be
fine.

Try NeoDVD 7.0 and a mainconcept codec. Stay away from movie maker if you
want best quality.
