That's not going to do your noise floor any good. Distortion will be up
a bit, too. Or more than a bit, if the mixer uses a "standard"
RIAA-equalizer preamp circuit.

And, the mixer's RIAA curve's errors added to the errors of the inverse
RIAA network will make foran interesting frequency response. Almost
undoubtedly NOT flat.

Is there any way to hack into the mixer and bypass the RIAA circuitry
entirely?
