Netflix Question |
|
|
Hi fellow Netflixians,
I am really suspicious about how the status of DVDs changes so rapidly. One
day its NOW, later that same day its VERY LONG WAIT, and I'm talking about 6
different titles. After some time you start to develop a feeling about how
you think that Netflix juggles your title queue. I wonder if Netflix really
has, in their inventory, all of the titles they claim they have. For
example, I have about 6 lesser known titles (only one recently released)
that I see are in VERY LONG WAIT. The only way that can possibly happen is
if they do not really own them, or if they have a handful of them, maybe
even one.
Netflix does state that they will give you priority if you are not so
aggressive on renting as many DVDs as possible. Basically, being a pig.
While I am a pig, I have lately been very patient getting some titles that
seems to go day after day in my queue with no change from the long wait
status.
Anyone else figure out what is happening, who is a customer of Netflix?

I rest my case.

Or maybe everyone else that wants to see these lesser known titles are
also trying to get them from Netflix ? |

Keep in mind that WalMart has partnered with Netflix creating instant
demand on Netflix resources.

I wonder how many of the Netflix sycophants, who instantly take their side
on every issue around here, are going to profit from the fruits of the
settlement. |
