I'm a little confused about Flex Focus Point.

If I press the controller button I engage FFP. I understand that and how to
move the cross hairs.
But in the camera's menu you can set FFP or Center Spot.

I don't get the difference between the menu setting or pressing the
controller button?

That's for exposure spot metering, use the FFP or always use the centre
spot.

They're not the same thing, one is metering (the menu) and the other is
focusing.
