How to integrate still images into Adobe? |
|
|
I have 5 hours of DV video, along with 400 still images from a digital
camera, that has to be edited down to a 2 hour movie.
My question is, what is the best way to insert the still images into the
Premiere 6.5 timeline, and not have the images flicker during playback on a
TV?
I've done this before, and can't seem to get away from the annoying
flickering....I create pan/scan/zoom rotate motion on images as well,
lasting 6 - 8 seconds.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the filters provided especially for that
exact problem? |

Right click on the clip, select Field Options and select either "Always
Deinterlace" or "Flicker Removal".

The OP said the images were from a digital camera, so there is not
likely any interlace problem. The only time he should get flicker is
when there are very thin (1 pixel wide) lines, and then there can be
very annoying flicker, so yes, a slight blur filter could fix it up. If
you don;t mind taking the extra time, you could apply the filter only
to the annoying parts of each image.
