Sony DVD Encryption e.g Hitch |
|
|
To any one out there experiencing any problems with the latest Sony DVD
releases for backing up your originals, an example being 'Hitch' you
can still use good old faithful 'DVD Decryption' which is free but when
you extract the files you need to set the parameters to ignore track
errors and to save as a file, failing to do this will result in errors.
Once you have the data saved onto your harddrive then just open up 'DVD
Shrink' another free programme and open up the DVD files and hey presto
Sony decryption by-passed. If I come across any others that are nasty
I'll keep this post up-dated, only gets nasty when you have to start
using 'Vobrator' for which I haven't found any good user guides yet so
I might type one up, I've only had to use it the once but it worked
perfectly in enabling me to re-edit the DVD tracks to enable the disc
to be backed up.
Hope this helps someone?!!

Or, you can use DVD Fab Decrypter - which is designed to defeat Sony
protection. |
