Total noisy crap compared to my Mackies...almost ruined my project with my
sound crew using them outside at night. Cold and Damp are enemies of all
sound gear but the Behringer just hummed and buzzed on! The Mackie however
saved the day. Same environment, same mics, same cables, no noise. Now
maybe the 3 units the sound crew had were all from some bad batch but I
doubt it.

Strange, my experiences have been exactly the opposite. Go figure.

Yeah, especially since the vast majority of the group have also had similar

experiences to mine.

Then again this debate has been done to death too many times on here
already. Mackie are 3 times the price of Behringer for an inferior desk.
Behringer used to have a lot of QC problems but that is a thing of the past.
Of course any mention of the B word and the luddites come crawling out of
the woodwork with the same old garbage.

Please explain what's *inferior* about Mackie products !

It's all very well to say how great Behringer are for the money but they're
pretty plain vanilla.

I hear various tales of continuing QC issues sadly.

behringer selling any mixers with dual sweep mid except their inline
mixers.......
