I´m trying to record a digital video The analogic video source comes
from a sony camera (390P)connected to a microscope (yellow RCA) and the
analogic audio source comes from a microphone (Red and White RCA. Will
it work in any DVD recorder? Do I need special gadget? Thanks in advance

Whatever you connect the yellow, red and white to, it won't know what the
sources are. As long as the DVD recorder has analog inputs for video and
stereo audio, you'll be set (assuming the camera and recorder are the same
video system - PAL or NTSC).

Camera and recorder are PAL system.
The MIC is connected to a preamplifier and the audio RCA output is
connected
to the audio input of the recorder as I do with the video signal. I can
record video but no audio signal
..
Perhaps The DVD is the problem. I´ll try with another one

Thanks John

Have you checked your amplified audio signal with another device - e.g., a
portable radio/cassette player or a video recorder?

Also, if you have another audio source, try that with the DVD recorder.

Is it possible the DVD recorder has menu settings for selecting the audio
input?

John.

I believe there are some computer PCI surveillance card which supposely
have multiple A/V input for multiple CCTV channel, using the standard
RCA plugs.

Non PC approach would be the Time-Lapsed recorder which commonly
deployed by security firms.

All the above, come with a hefty price tag.
