Nero Ultra 7 rebate question |

My Sony DVD burner comes with OEM version of Nero burning rom 6. If I buy
the retail version of Nero Ultra 7, am I eligible for the $20 rebate? I only
saw $20 rebate coupon saying competitive rebate but no details on the cover.
Anyone knows? Thanks.

I think the other poster provided a link to information; I don't think you
can get the rebate.
I just want to relay another situation. I bought and downloaded the
complete Nere 5.5 package from the Ahead website. When I purchased Ultra
6.6 I could not get the $20 rebate since it required prior purchase of
"retail" product, not to be confused with getting the complete product from
the website. Glad Ultra 6.6 had dropped to $39 without rebates.

You are right. To be eligible for the $20 rebates, I have to own the RETAIL
versions of competitive products or previous Nero versions. So as now, I
just use the OEM Nero 6.6 and wait for Nero 7 price to drop. (Should buy the
retail Ultra 6 when it was $20. Now it is too late.) |
