I have just got back from the Canon Factory Service Center in NJ my D-60 and
one of my lens'. I have two D-60's a primary and a back up. My question
is, is anyone out there having Auto Focus problems in low light situations
with their D-60. Both of mine have had this problem. I did get my primary
back yesterday and it seems to be fine for now and the back up is packed up
and ready to go Monday to NJ. I had asked them if this is an ongoing
problem in the letter sent with the camera and there was no response to the
question. I shoot a lot of film for weddings and portraits, but a lot of my
clients ask for digital also. So both my MF and digital cameras get a lot
of work. Are the D-60's needing more frequent cleaning and recalibrating?
Are there any threads out there for the D-60
Thank you for any assistance on this matter.

D60 does not handle some low-light situations very well. That is about
the only weakness of the camera that is significant in my view. I have
owned one now for nearly 3 years and enjoy it a lot. I believe the
low-light performance has improved with the newer Canon DSLRs.
