Lumiquest Cinch Strap any good? |
|
|
Hi:
I'm getting tired of my rubber bands breaking and I don't want to glue
velcro directly to the flash because I think it will get in the way of
other accessories.
Anybody have any experience with Lumiquest's "cinch strap?" Is it
worth getting? Does it stay put once attached to the flash? And is it
strong enough to hold big bouncers?
I tried looking for other velcro but couldn't find anything strong
enough that didn't require glue or sewing.
Thanks.

Mine is black, not that it has any impact on the image capture ... ;-)

Using Big Bounce LQ-881D and the Pocket Bouncer (LQ-871D). Sounds like
the strap will hold.
Question: On Lumiquest's site, the strap looks light green and on B&H's
site, it looks black. Which color is it?
Thanks again.

I use the Lumiquest Softbox (LQ-925D) on my Canon EX-550 flashes. The
rubber (shark tooth) lining on the inside of the Velcro strap is
adequate to keep the Softbox in position. The "Big Bounce" would
probably work the same with other flashes, but you didn't specify
which one(s) you're using.
