I have a Nikon Coolpix 5700 and have been using the Nikon Transfer software
which came with it. However, it is not transferring the images in sequence.

Can anyone recommend a transfer software that works with Nikon cameras?

Thanks, PJ

Buy a card reader. Attach card reader to USB port. If you are running

Windows XP, it will load the required software. Remove card from camera.
Insert card in card reader.
Windows XP will mount card as a disk device. Copy files from card to folder
of your chosing in whatever order turns you on. Use software eject on the
card. Remove card from card reader.
Insert card in camera. Reformat card in camera.

You don't need any software to perform this simple process.

What do you care in what order the images are transferred to the computer?
Each image file contains time and the date info, so you can organize them
on the hard disk in any order you want.
