Render before export ? |
|
|
I used to think Premiere Pro was clever enough to not re-render a
project when I exported it to mpg if I'd already rendered it. That's
clearly not so, and when I asked on a ng someone replied that of
course it had to re-render it because it does it **differently** when
it's part of the export.
Does anyone here second that idea, or take issue with it?
I ask because most of my work is with stage productions that are
lighted for the audience, not the camera, and I end up doing a lot of
color correction in post. When I view the "finished" product and catch
some glitches, I end up rendering the whole thing again (during the
second export).
It would be nice if I knew I could render (or export to DV avi) the
first time, and if I needed to do any touchup, I could start with that
file instead of the original.
