C'è persino un newsgroup che si chiama GM70. In sè è solo un grosso triodo
con un basso mu, quindi qualunque schema adatto ad una 845 può funzionare
anche per la GM70. Personalmente ritengo che per questi bestioni ci voglia
una valvola di potenza, come driver: diciamo una 6V6 o 6L6 connesse a triodo
(i triodi a risc.diretto sono tutti microfonici perchè il filamento vibra:
se amplifichi ulteriormente il loro segnale la cosa diventa insopportabile).
Personalmente apprezzo molto i vecchi schemi con accoppiamento a
trasformatore della GEC che puoi trovare su Internet o comprando il relativo
libriccino (molto bello) su Amazon o simili.
La GM70 in sè vuole circa 1000V e 110 mA, quindi l'unico vero problema è
trovare un trasformatore d'uscita abbastanza grosso. Lo zoccolo è quello
della 813, costa 30-40$ ma si trova.

Provo de scrivere in Italiano. Fa piu de 40 ani ce non parlo il
Italiano. Qui in Belgio siamo con tanti Italiani ma doppe questi ani, la
seconda generatione ha perso il habitudine de parlare il Italiano .
No, non o schemi par il GM70. A sercato in il viechi schema de Geloso?

Not so bad, considered that You did not speak any Italian for 40 yrs.. quite
understandable. Well, the 2 lines posting from mr. ReginaldP did not mean
anything, actually, and I apologise for writing in italian, but the original
question came from .it and it seemed funny to speak bad English among
Italians... OK we're a US colony but we're still taught our own language!
Briefly I was telling that any 845-based circuit can be used for a GM70, the
only problem being the very large requirements posed on the OPT: 1000+V,
110+ mA to reach about 35W of output power (30% efficiency out of a 125W
tube). A trioded power tube like a 6V6 or 6L6 is IMHO a better driver than
a DHT because it avoids microphonic noise due to vibrating filaments.
