Cyberhome 300 *new* "code"? |
|
|
Sorry if this question's been asked before. However, a friend of mine
bought on my recommendation the cheap Cyberhome 300, and unfortunately
the old "zone free" code (MENU, 1, 9, then set to "0" and press enter)
doesn't seem to work anymore. Anybody has an updated "code", please?
Many thanks.

I just purchased one at Best Buy to send to my wife's family overseas. The
label said it was manufactured September 2005, and "BIOS: 1a.4m" The old
hack worked perfectly, just as before.
I did notice that there were two different types of boxes on the stack,
one labelled "NTSC/PAL" and the other labelled "NTSC". I chose the former,
though I'm not sure if the "NTSC" boxes actually had something different
inside.
Also noticed that Target, which used to have a special-label version
(CH-DVD320) to beat the price beaters, has now converted a lot of their
Cyberhome products to the "TruTech" brand. They look the same ... don't
know if this is yet another maneuver to get out of the lowest-price war,
or if the contents are realy different. |
