New here,

I noticed DVD recorders popping up at electronic stores lately.
But none I've seen burn both DVDs and audio CDs.

And I'd like to know what manufactures make DVD and Audio CD recorders
all-in-one (without a computer).

I thought they all would record audio CDs along with video DVDs?
My LiteOn LVW-5005 records both.

By "audio CD" I assume you both mean a box that you can plug audio into

(either analog and/or digital) and it will record onto a CD. That CD must
be one of the special "music" CD's .. not a 'regular' CD.

I have a music CD recorder only (no DVD just CD) and it works just fine for
what I want, but I didn't know that some of the DVD recorders could be used
that way.

Not true, the LiteOn LVW-5045 can record onto standard computer CDR or CDRW.
