I have a PodXT connected through USB to my laptop. I'm considering
some notation software, such as Finale Guitar or Sibelius G7, and like
the ability they offer to play my guitar and have them generate the
notation directly.

Is the hardware I have all that I need? Do I need ASIO drivers? Do I
need MIDI input (the PodXT has MIDI output) or can this software handle
reading from the USB port somehow?
