Multipin Connectors. |

I'm simply after some multipins for my FOH console.
Some info.
GL2800-832
32/8 multi
2 4 channel gates
4 4 channel compressors.
4 2 channel compressors
2 fx loops (mono in stereo rtn on both)
Vocal group out (desk group 7 and 8)
stereo return in (i send the vocal group through a graphic)
main and aux outs from desk to seperate EQ rack.
so i need from the multi. 32 in 8 out.
then one for FOH rack
One for EQ rack.
I'm in the UK so need to knwo someone who will wire this up for me. I'm
more than capable of doing it myself i simply dont have time and can't be
arsed as it strikes me of being a **** of a job.
This will save me 25 mintues in and 25 minutes out per gig so it will pay
for itself very quickly so i could almost say cost isnt' an issue.
A question that came to mind was the multicore.
Would i be better off buying a multi with multipins on it and getting rid or
storing my current one or would it be worth adopting this one already?
Rob.

Buy a new one, with multipins, and keep the old one as spare / backup.
VDC make good ones, as do many others. Price may be scary but the quality is
worth it.

Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving / And
revolving at 900 miles an hour / That's orbiting at 19 miles a second,
so it's reckoned, / A sun that is the source of all our power. / The
sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see, / Are moving at a
million miles a day / In an outer spiral arm, at 40,000 miles an hour,
/ Of the galaxy we call the Milky Way. |

Rob.
If you can run to buying new, try Canfords, they do a bespoke service. |

I'll second that. I had some made up by them and the quality was excellent -
way better than I could have done myself.
cheers,

I would also look at Kelsey too, top quality, they'll build anything you |
want and are probably a bit cheaper than VDC.
