Copying commercial VHS to DVD with a DVD recorder |
|
|
Ok, this has probably been asked a lot before, but is there anyway to get
around the macrovision copy protection stopping me from copying commercial
VHS to a DVD?

Thanks, do you know if they're available in the UK? Or would an imported
one be able to work on a UK power supply?
Also, I just did a search and found this lead:
http://www.multi-region.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=674
think it would be any use? It just looks like a scart lead to me!
Thanks. |

Dubious on the SCART. It looks like a DVD to VHS only. DVD recorders
are smarter than VHS recorders. If they sense the signal at the
beginning then they shut down.
The SIMA should work in the UK with a power converter. The power
supply is external, and I would think that one could purchase a 208V
there that provides the correct voltage to the unit.
Cheers... |
