Therein lies the problem.
That's why blacks were forced to sit in the back of a bus.
Are you a bot or is there another explanation for how you manage to
link different topics together?
It is easy to understand if you think about it.
"Pretty much all of the 'Honest' governed had given consent for the
prosecution of non-segregarion, in any of its many forms."

I'm not black, but if I were, I might not like the inference
that all blacks were forced to sit in the back of the bus,
because they were thieves. Nor would most honest blacks
equate the segregation laws of the past with laws against theft.
All societies throughout history have dealt with the concept
of personal property rights. While few believe that we have
anything like a perfect system, yet; it sure beats those tried in
the past. (Including all those socialist utopias.)
That you personally have no problem stealing, indicates the
value to be placed on your social and civic judgment. That
you would be a thief, and that there are thieves out there is
something that we all suffer for. Those of us who would make
honest copies of material that we have purchased, for our own
use, may have to break laws/regulations put in place to protect
the real interests of those providing the material, from thieves
like you.

Its not 'theft' according to law. Copyright infringment etc. but not
'theft'.

BTW: Of course I live in a country where decrypting DVDs is legal! *g*
And it's ok to copy a DVD you didn't pay for also, I suppose?

I've copied a DVD's contents to my harddisk and gave the DVD back.
I thought I could decrypt the DVD from the files on my harddisk with
an appropriate tool but I can only find tools which decrypt a whole
DVD at once from the DVD-ROM. Is there any technical constraint that
decrypting the DVD now doesn't work or can anyone recommend a Windows
-tool to decrypt the DVD from the files I have on my harddisk?
Thanks in advance!

Not really, you can copy files from a DVD by first "unlocking" the
DVD drive with a player. The files are NOT decrypted this way.
Just for the heck of it, I tried doing this. The files copy to the
harddrive without a problem, but I can't do anything with them
after that. When I try to play the files with PowerDVD it gives a
"region code" error. DVDshrink gets an "illegal memory" error or
something like that. I'm kinda surprised DVDshrink wouldn't work.

Well I'm yet to find a DVD that I can't back up using either DVDDecrypter of
DVDFabDecrypter. I just pop the disc into my region free LG-DVD/CD burner
and up pops DVDD and away I go! I always burn onto a rewritable first and
test it in a Pioneer standalone, because it's such a bitch of a player at
the best of times and again in a no names el cheapo. If it works I burn my
back up for real. Little fingers with honey are not nice for DVD players!

I'm familiar with making DVD copies. The original question was how
to decode files that have already been copied to harddrive. I can't
do it. I don't know that it can be done.
