Anyone successfully managed to update their MSI DVD writer.....

I've done the files to a floppy disk.....

Following the instructions........i insert floppy with the update on it and
type..............

DVFLASH 150D_SCR.bin

and all i get is an error saying "cant open file 150d_SCR.bin" and then
...press a key to continue





Any help gratefully appreciated.......................failing
that........MSI drive for sale.......tenner

What model is it?

I upgraded an MSI D16B (MS 8216M) for a friend recently without any problem
although that's a DVD ROM drive and not a writer.

Did you get your info/firmware via RPC1.org?

ive tried, tried , and f**king well tried..............

now...sitting next to me...............

my new pioneer dvd writer..............

and never again will i travel down the msi highway...............

shit product.......shit quality.........and even worse SHIT support from
msi.
