Thanks George. I'll play with it's positioning. I mount all my stuff on
my rack (I use carbon tubes so there is a little dampening).

Hi Dan,

Just a reminder, can you stop the top-posting please? It's frowned upon
here because it messes up the newsreaders of a couple of our readers who
are blind.

And is hard to find your post, after scrolling down to where it should be to
find it isn't.

Not as far as I can tell from asking in rec.audio.pro. His email sends
back a notice that his inbox is full.

I do hope he is ok
I learned alot for reading how a blind person excelled at a job that is so
sight dependednt
I really liked the vibrating clip detector he had
sort of like the clipcop
but with vibration as opposed to sound

Richard is a really smart guy. I read his posts for a long time in
r.a.p. before I realized he was blind.

No, a Sennheiser!

Hi Peter,

Which one?

By the way.. I think almost every Sennie is worth the money :-)

At the risk of repeating myself yet again, the Rode NT3 is a fine

substitute for the C1000S, ten times the mike and much cheaper.

You mean damping? Dampening would involve moisture.
