If speaker break-in is dumb, is amp burn-in dumber?

They are both about equally stupid.

I'm convinced that they are pushed by dealers who are trying
to overcome buyer's remorse.

Hi, loudspeaker burn in is smart, especially for the loudspeaker designer
before the system is designed, amp burn in is dumb as the more the amp is
in operation, to more the logic of deteriotaion of the electrolytics in
the circuitry is increasing the ESR of the capacitors., and this ESR
Equalent Series Resistance is making the amp sound more distorted in the
long run.

Electrolytics actually improved when powered.

Neither burn-ins are as vital as "Cable Burn In". As our salesman puts it
"To get the molecules all alinged magnetically" !!!
