I was hoping to soon pick up a refurb C-5050 as an upgrade to my
C-3030... for around $400-450 but I found a good price for the C-8080
at $651.

It's more than I'd wanted to spend... but might be do-able, especially
if I decide to go all digital and sell off my old Oly OM-2N film
camera.

However, I was wondering if prices might drop further after Christmas
on the C-8080? I haven't been in the market until now, so I don't know
if digital cameras tend to go on sale after or not.

Otherwise... any opinions on which is better? Both should be fine for
my purposes, I'm really just debating if it is worth an extra $250 or
so for me to move up to the C-8080.

Any reliability problems with either that anyone has noticed? I'm
hoping whatever I upgrade to will last me 5 years or perhaps longer.
