I received the following from someone in the UK:

"Have you heard of a "gadget box" which is used for converting old cine
film to video using one's own projector and video camera? A friend has seen
one here in the UK which someone imported from the USA."

He will be visiting Boston shortly and wonders whether anyone might know
the name and model of such a device (preferably not too expensive), and
possible sources in Boston.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
