Wont Power Up |
|
|
I recently had to purchase a 1988 corolla as my other car died. However
when I tried to install my stereo I can't get it to power up. The old
stock stereo thats in it works but who in the world wants a stereo with
a tape deck :-) .
I have a Sony CDX-F7700. I went up to Pepboys and bought the right
wiring kit, however I just can't get the thing to power up. I Pulled
out my tester and Power is getting to the unit.
I've tried runing a seperate ground thinking maybe the ground wasn't
connecting right. The only thing I didn't try was running a seperate
power supply, as I saw no need as power is getting to the unit.
Any help would be great.

Sometimes you have to push the reset button after installing a Sony deck.
the reset button is behind the face plate |

Tried the reset button a couple different times trying to figure it
out.
Have both the constant(memory)power and the switched connected.
