This may likely be in the FAQ that Google is hiding for me.
I'm looking for a means of converting various video formats (like .avi) to
DVD, along with making simple menus and joining/editing video clips.

I've got a demo version of Video Santa, and it's cheap enough to buy if it
works reasonably well.... I've bought my share and then some of useless
crap over the years!
