I bought a DVD recorder which come with a 80 GB hard drive. I would
like to know whether it is possible to replace it with a higher
capacity harddrive by myself. Any information would be apprepriated

Knowing what make/model you bought might allow people to lead you to the
right places specializing in info about modifying your particular unit.
