I have recently purchased a Lacie 16x double layer burner. I have
never burned a dvd before and know almost nothing about doing it. I had
the Lacie techie talk me through it to burn a practice DVD. It seems to
be taking a very long time to compile(convert an mov. so it can be
burned?) Is this common? I have a Mac G4 powerbook and am using
CaptyDVD to compile and burn. I have used Imovie to edit movies and
videos. Could I save time when editing movies by saving in a different
format that would compile faster? Is there another site I should go to
to get this info?
Imovie has a really good tutorial that helps one to learn all the
ins and outs of video editing and effects. It would be nice if CaptyDVD
did also.

Here is where I learned a lot when I was a newbie (still am in a lot of
cases :)). Very informative sites.
