Get a Behringer DCX2496.
I could live with doing this if I could get the recommended modelling
details to
allow me to set it up. I've just sent TS an email, yesterday, asking for
some information
but I will be surprised if I see any. I really like the idea of these
cabinets but using their
controller would kill the budget. I know I will need something, but I
would prefer a choice
of controller as it could be used with other gear too.
The DCX2496 is by far the best bang for the buck out there. I'm sure you
could get the settings from Turbosound. If not then Tim should be able to
help you as he knows these speakers.
The American DJ gear is just a crossover not a speaker processor and would
not be suitable for what you need.
Yes, That's understood. |
I've now got the EQ details for the TurboSound TQ310, These are as follows
for
a stand alone pair....
ftp://ftp.turbosound.com/tech_data/controllers/dspv1.3.xls
High Pass Filter 45.9Hz 24dB/Octave
EQ1 66.2Hz, Q=1.6, +9.5dB
EQ2 735Hz, Q=4.0, -2.2dB
EQ3 2.88kHz, Q=2.0, -6.0dB
EQ4 7.85KHz , Q=5, -2.2dB
EQ5 12.7kHz, Q=1.2, -8.0dB
Now I need to sit down and see if the Behringer DCX2496 can do this profile.
