I use Nero 6 to backup DVDs. Unfortuneately I didn't check the quick burn
DVD to DVD box (using two drives) and Nero has hidden two whole film files
on my HD somewhere. I can't find where though. I only know because 9Gb have
mysteriously been taken up on the HD. Any ideas?

Use the find command to find all files and sort by size. Your big video files should be near the top.

Search for files named *.vob
