Subject pretty much sums it up. How do I make the exif data appear next to a
photo automatically? Can you do it in Photoshop web photo gallery feature or
some other program?

My experience is that this feature is built into the software used to build
the web albums. I have used some simple web-page-generation software that
will do this, and some that won't. It will be in the documentation for the
program.
