About a month ago I signed up at caraudioforum.com with the intentions of
using that site to view/post to rec.audio.car since my Internet provider has
been having problems with their news server. Unfortunately, CAF never sent
me a confirmation email so I'm unable to reply to or start new threads.
They have completely ignored my multiple emails trying to get my
confirmation so I can participate. I'm pretty much disgusted with them, so
even if they finally pulls their heads out of their asses (is a moderator
from CAF reading this??) and allow me to be an active member, I just assume
not have any dealings with them....unless I get a big apology.

So now that I'm done ranting, back to my original question. Are there any
other sites out there I can use besides CAF?

Thanks in advance,

Tony

I also offered a web-based newsgroup before, but only continued two weeks. I
got warning from my service provider after someone started to post spams,
and I have to stop it. You can always use Google for posting, as a big
website, they have the ability to filter the spams.

Thanks for the link on realcaraudio, Brandonb, but it's not a very reliable
site. Half the posts that I see on the newsgroup aren't even on the site.
And even though I've subscribed to multiple threads it's not showing me as
subscribed nor am I recieving any email notifications.

Does anyone have a membership to http://www.caraudioforum.com ?

If so, do you get ANY responses from them? I can't even email the moderator
since I'm not registered yet. This is VERY frustrating!!!

Sorry, can't vouch for either as I don't visit the sites. I just see
people from both posting in here according to their sigs.
