My latest trick for "exotic" formats is an AVS script:

DirectShowSource("path_to_file", fps=???)

use actual framerate instead of ???, of course. You can load the avs file in
any program that supports them, eg, VobSub and extract the audio as a WAV. I
used this to convert a few WMV files to MPEG2. I use AviSynth v2.5. With
AVIs you can skip the AVS part and load the file directly into VobSub. If it
resists, use the AVS script :)

Erik.

Please stop with your Linux suggestions and crap, 99.99% use MS Windows.
Please post your
mails in a Linux group.
Go and get a Heineken or Grolsch
and keep on smiling and be happy
