I have recently purchased a Sony HX910 and a Sony HX710 DVD hard disc
recorder. With both the machines when I dub a program from hard disc to
DVD-R in "fast record" mode the finalized disc will play OK in my PC's DVD
burner drive, but if I try to play it at over 4X fast-forward speed or if I
try to access the Next chapter the disc causes my version of Power DVD (4
for XP) to crash.

I am using Imation 8X DVD-R discs that read without any of the problems
above if the dubbing on the Sony recorders is done in real time (1X speed).

Has anyone else come across this problem?
