No video display |

I have an AD Progressive Scan dvd player. When I connect it directly to
my television, I do not get a video display. I've tried all of the
available channels. The connections are right (av out -> av in). It
works when I connect to my old modulator. Is there another step I'm
missing?

Do you have a progressive scan capable tv? If not, turn off the progressive
scan, or use s-video or composite as they do not support progressive scan,
so you can turn it off if necessary.

It's in yuv mode. I'd like to use s-video, but I don't get a signal
when I connect to the tv with the mono cables. Would the s-video cable
be different?
