Hi,
newbie to cucusoft, when I take an avi file to convert to dvd, I hit dvd
then change the target size to 1000MB but after conversion dont end up with
vobs, bups and theTS and the usual, only end up with a video clip that I
cant burn with nero into a DVD, wont accept the file under make a dvd video.
Have been using winavi which is simple but not so good at encoding .

Any help appreciated
Roo

Cucusoft only does the first stage of conversion, that is to an mpeg2
DVD compatible file. You then need either Cucusoft DVD author or
TMPGEnc DVD Author to turn in into vobs etc. This process is much
quicker than the first stage.
Hope this helps.

some video converters are unstable for using lots of codecs in the
system.
you can try converting avi to dvd mpeg with total video converter
(http://www.effectmatrix.com)which is stable and fast and keeps good
quality.
