Hi all, this is a little off topic but I have one of those fibre optic
lamps. the fibres are look brownish instead of the silky colour that they
should be, how do I clean the fibre strands? The lamp is an original from
the 70's.

Thanks.

It is my understanding that the discolouration is caused by the fibres
absorbing moisture. Is the word "hygroscopic"?
I think you will find it very difficult to clean.
