Help!: DVD player sees only part of (S)VCD |
|
|
Hi,
When I make a (S)VCD movie using TMPGEnc to encode the Avi and Nero to
burn, my DVD player (JVC XV-N33) most of the times only sees part of
the movie (eg. my DVD player sees 36 minutes, while there are 52
minutes on CD). When I insert the CD in my PC, Media player sees the
entire movie.
I tried this with the (S)VCD complient box in Nero checked and
unchecked. I'm quite sure I use all the right settings in Nero and
TMPGEnc.
I bought the player second hand from someone I trusted... Was my trust
misplaced, or is there another explanation? Hope someone can help me
out here.
regards,
Robin

Just as an experiment, try dropping the .avi file on
GoldWave 4.26 and do Save As 16 bit signed stereo
..wav to the same folder as the video. In TMPGEnc
load the .avi video file, but then load the .wav file
as the audio. Also make sure to use CBR for audio
in TMPGEnc. Burn and see if it plays correctly. |

Never tried this, and don't see how it could be an answer to my
problem. What I did do the other day, because of a sound problem, was
that I used VirtualDub to save the wave file (CBR; amplified), and I
Ioaded the .wav seperedly in TMPGEnc. Sound was okay, but DVD player
still only saw 2/3rd of movie.. |

How does the cd play on the computer? If it doesn't play correctly on
the pc, then it sounds like you have a problem in the burning process. |
