DVD- No Disc But there is 1? |
|
|
What's going on when the DVD player says NO DISC but there is a disc
inside?
Tried cleaning the disc & using different discs.
Does it need to be cleaned with one of those laser cleaning DVD's?
Thanks,
Ed

Those cleaning discs almost never fix the problem which is almost always a
dead or dying laser. The player will need to be replaced unless it's worth
repairing at around $200. If it was a $1000 or more player, it mya be worth
it, if it was an inexpensive player, its always more economicially cost
effective to buy a new one.

More details are needed: |
Are you trying to play a video that you created on your computer such
as a DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW?
Are you trying to play a commerical movie DVD?
Is it just this DVD disc that won't play or do all DVD discs not play?

Bad burn, defective disc or the player is going bad. Most of this
player's have a 1 year warranty.
Also you can test disc quality with Nero CD Speed.
