What are the French guilty of? terrorizing people with smelly cheese?

They terrorize politics with their arrogant assumption of superiority in all
things.

First off, let me give you credit for actually including the
whole post that you object to. It's too bad that you are
unable to comprehend it though, for much of your "knee
jerk", "Politically Correct" reaction is thereby refuted.

People like you should somehow be banned permanently from newsgroups & the
Internet as a whole, since you have just made up a whole soap opera based
on two letters: tr, which stand for a Turkish domain. This is just as bad
as refusing admission to black people!!!

No, it would be more like refusing to give Tar and Feathers to

a Rural Southern White Man. Also, reread my first post in this
thread as well as the first paragraph of my comments below.
It is you who seems to want to refuse admission to those you
disagree with.

Just because s/one is in Turkey doesn't make him a terrorist, and being in
the US Mid-West doesn't make s/one a decent & honest person either. I own
a few .com domains, which anyone (including a Middle-East terrorist) can
easily register online. Can you tell where I am, what passport I hold or
what my political allegiances are? Can you be sure I'm not a terrorist
hanging out in this group just to learn how to make a video showing how to
blow up something or other? Would you answer my post 'coz I have a .com
domain?

Try rereading the second paragraph below a few times,

it might just sink in. Pay particular attention to the last
sentence of that paragraph. (Try a good dictionary if
some of the words are giving you trouble.)

On to my next question: have you realized how stupid & absurd your
comments below are?

You either didn't read my posts, or are ignoring the
fact that I provided what advice I could, precisely
because, in my "pre-judgmental" way I felt that it was
unlikely that the OP was making video for terrorists.

That there are terrorists out there making video, can
hardly be in doubt. That the Internet is an anonymous
media used by terrorists, can hardly be in doubt. That
a prudent person might want to exercise some caution
in who's efforts they support, whether it be terrorists,
thieves, con-artist, ect... can hardly be in doubt. That
there is no way to definitively identify the true nature of
any post or poster, is also a fact.

It's generally true that being responsible for your own
actions will, in some cases, involve making judgments
without all the facts. At this point in time, I would have
to say I'm more comfortable providing aid and assistance
to someone in "The Mid-West" than someone in the
"Middle-East". If this means I am engaging in "Poster
Profiling" then so be it.

That I believe that people should exercise some
judgment in the causes they may be inadvertently
supporting, may upset you but it is hardly any reason
to vent your frustration to the world. Your position,
much like the Ostrich's, is one I can't accept.

Luck;
Ken
