Hi.
Can anyone tell me if this is correct,
Brought a wintv pvr250 capture card, this comes with moviefactory2.
Not really happy with this set-up, so as I've had some success with
capturing vhs tape using vitualdub, tempgnec xpress and author, tried to use
this card with vitualdub but it does not seem to recognize the card. Is it
not supported or have i got to D/L something else to make it see the card?
Cheers

Is Womble better, easy to work then MF2 or MF3?
The problem I 've had with both is the removing of frames of unwanted video.

Win2000 to capture.
Womble for editing
DVDWorkshop for chapter, etc.

You wont need any other software.

If you mean the navigation within the editor, all the
controls are configurable. The defaults for a 1 frame
move are the left & right arrows. You might just bring
up the help, and read a little.

If you mean to set the editor to "frame accurate mode",
it is the normal default, but check the box for it on the
general options page, if it was somehow turned off.

The default is not frame by frame. I think this is something the author
should change, since many will do a quick try, notice it is moving in half
seconds, and discard the program.

He did, the current version defaults to "1 frame" for the unshifted
arrows.
I just reset the defaults to make sure. I have my mouse wheel set to "1
Frame" also, makes it quick to click on the slider then use the wheel to get
to the exact frame I want.

One of the coolest features of this editor is how configurable the
controls
are. You can make it really fit your workflow.

I don't disagree, but new users will not reach for the arrow buttons, but
the slider.
