stop off in new zealand on the way there. new zealand does not
allow regional coding. multi-system players are common. dual power
is also very common. i've got one such which my daughter brought me
from there.

Maybe you should say where in the U.S. you will be and someone could
recommend a store.
Here is a good site for DVD player research:

**Try here:

I bought a Toshiba multisystem VCR (for use in the US) and didn't have
any problems. They sell all sorts of multisystem electronics.

hi guys
thanx for the reply.
well i am in albany, ny. i would like to get it online. there are many
models from sony, panasonic and pioneer and also good old philips but
all of them are having mixed bag of reviews. am looking for a pointers
toward a robust and sturdy dvd player with can play virtually any
format of the disc (all types of dvd including dvd r's, cd and cd r's,
photo cds etc..) with multisystem and dual voltage.
any models in yamaha ?
if they are available in new zealand, is there any reliable online site
?
thanx again
