DVD shrink reauthoring 411 |
|
|
Hi,
I got a dual layer burner, but won't pay for the discs, so I have been
backing up my movies on two discs, rather than one.
My question is this: How can I get the extras available on the disc onto the
second disc? I usually have plenty of room available at the end of the
second disc, but I only have been able to get the title 1 (movie) on the
re-authoring list.
Any help would be great....

Well there's a few points to be made here. As to the film, they usually take
| Quote: | 4.36 Gb, and the extras are usually <4.26Gb, with the exception of where
the extras are audio commentaries with the main film. |
IMO To fit the entire film as a single track then you strip out ALL
extraneous material, ie menus, audio tracks & subtitles, keeping only the
video track and a single audio track, then make a menuless disc, will need
limited compression.
The extras you simly max out the compression on the main film to still
pictures and keep the rest including menus.......
Roll on dual sided single layer filp discs, they are easy to copy this way.
