DVD Compression with Alcohol 120 |
|
|
Can someone tell me how to compress the image that Alcohol 120
creates. I have been trying to burn the image, but it is too large for
the dvd. I have been all over the web and am unable to find any
information about this.

1. Open the .mdf file with Winimage
http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm
2. Extact the files to hard drive then DVDShrink them.
3. Don't use Alcohol 120 for dvds.
Unless you are copying a game, in which case, you're out of luck

Thanks, for you help. Would you know where I could find any sort of
tutorial so that I do this correctly. I am new to this and I just want
to back up a few of my dvd's to keep safe.

This is one of the dumbest questions i've ever read on a newsgroup. What
intrigues me more is the previous answers to your question. As i read your
question the only way this could fail is if you try to burn a double layer
dvd to a single layer dvd. The answers to your question i've read must be a
put on. You will never as you said find any information on the internet
about this 'cause man either you're as green as grass when it comes to
computers or you're mentally challenged.
